Ivrea Nickel-Copper Project, Italy
Nyota had a 70% interest in the Ivrea Nickel-Copper Project in the Piemonte Region of Italy through its majority holding in KEC Exploration Pty Ltd (‘KEC’).
The existing licences and the adjacent applications covered a total of 117km2 at the northern end of the Ivrea Gabbroic Complex that is the host to known nickel mineralization and include at least nine historic nickel mines and exploratory workings.
The Company’s exploration activities commenced with the assimilation of historic data in a geographical information system (‘GIS’), and an airborne electro-magnetic survey (‘EM survey’) to trace any extensions to the mineralisation previously mined and to identify possible new mineralisation associated with the gabbroic complex.
On 5 April 2017, the Company has ceded interest in Ivrea Nickel-Copper Project to its minority partner, Mr. Chris Reindler.
